Thirty-one Competitors enjoyed a sunny day at Hockley for the Seniors Spring Meeting.

Kevin Fleet (Bishopswood) and Alan Mew (Stoneham) shared the gross honours while Gavin Greenfield (Old Thorns) had the best nett score with an impressive 38 points.

It might not get him into Alan Drayton's County side but 10 handicap Greenfield was one of the few that broke 80 off the back tees on a day when the greens were a bit too speedy for most.
