Sandford Springs are Green Jackets Champions

Congratulations to the Team from Sandford Springs Hotel & Country Club, who yesterday won the Green Jackets at Hockley for the very first time.
Freddie Wilson, Albert Pugh and Max Dykes combined in extreme conditions to win the coveted Green Jackets Trophy.
The adverse weather meant that play was curtailed, only nine holes were possible in high winds and driving rain.
Twenty-seven Club teams from Hampshire, the Isle of Wight and the Channel Islands took part in this years competition.
La Grande Mare from Guernsey were second, Hockley third with Hayling in fourth place.
