New County Secretary appointed

NEW HAMPSHIRE COUNTY SECRETARY

Hampshire Golf has appointed Richard Arnold, previously manager of Stoneham Golf Club, to the role of County Secretary to replace David Wheeler upon his retirement (with effect from 1st August). 

Richard is delighted to be confirmed as the new County Secretary and will take up his position - initially in a shadowing role - with effect from 1st June – thus giving two months of working in tandem with David, before taking on the role 'proper' from 1st August.

Richard has wide experience of Golf. He was a qualified PGA Club Professional who turned Professional at the age of 19. He relinquished his Professional status two years ago but still plays golf to a low single figure handicap. He has previously been Manager at Reigate Heath Golf Club, and most recently Manager at Stoneham Golf Club.
