The Solent Salver - a 72 hole competition over this weekend comprising 36 holes at Stoneham on Saturday ( the Stoneham Trophy), and 36 holes at Brokenhurst Manor on Sunday (The Mike Smith Trophy) got under way in fine weather on Saturday morning (6th August) at Stoneham.
The winner was Danny Farnen from Farringdon Park Golf - Bristol, who shot rounds of 73 & 69. Second place was shared between 3 Hampshire players, Craig Neve (Test Valley), Paul Telfer (Hockley) and Harrison Pake (Stoneham).
