Huge congratulations to Billy McKenzie (Rowlands Castle) on his victory in today's Final of the Spanish Amateur.
He beat Yorkshire's Alex Fitzpatrick 3&2 in the Final at La Manga.
It is a fantastic start to his golfing year and underlines the potential that Billy has shown over the last 18 months with a number of excellent performances in local and national events.

Rowlands Castle's Billy McKenzie has reached the 36 hole Final of the Spanish Amateur Championship, which will be played at La Manga on Sunday.
Billy made it through the qualifier earlier in the week right on the cut line. Since then he has gone from strength to strength, culminating in an impressive 5&4 win in this afternoon's semi-final against Spain's Eugenio Lopez-Chacarra Coto.
In the all English Final Billy will play Alex Fitzpatrick, brother of Matt Fitzpatrick.
