County Card Conditions

County Card holders are asked to contact Golf Clubs in advance to check on any such restrictions.

You are asked to ring the Pro Shop to arrange your visit.


HOW TO BECOME AN INDIVIDUAL COUNTY MEMBER...........

Any Hampshire Golfer who is a Member of an affiliated club in the County may become Individual County Member.

Nominations for membership shall be submitted to the County Secretary on an application form which shall be signed by the Secretary of the applicant’s club.

The annual subscription is £15 payable by Bankers Standing Order.

Membership carries the privilege of either a round or a days golf at participating clubs on payment of a reduced green fee, normally between 50 and 75% of the normal green fee, at the clubs discretion. Maximum one visit per club per year.

Membership is strictly non transferable and satisfactory identification must be produced if requested.

Before a visit is made to a club, the individual is required to contact the Secretary or Professional of the club to ensure such a visit is convenient and he must produce his membership card and pay the relevant green fee before play.

At all times members must conform to the rules of the club visited both on and off the course and shall adhere strictly to the etiquette of golf.

Cards cannot be used for Society visits.

Play on Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays is at the discretion of the Host Club.

All members are eligible to wear the County members tie, obtainable from the County Secretary at cost of £8.00

Membership cards are issued by the County Secretary to the member’s club and to the member through Club Secretaries/Managers

Any member not respecting these conditions shall be liable to forfeiting their membership of the scheme.
