Congratulations, Jamie Markwick!
Jamie has made history by winning the first-ever Maplesden Bowl, the New Hampshire County Strokeplay Championship, played in loving memory of Keith Maplesden, a much-respected former county secretary, president, and a truly cherished figure across the county. Jamie strung together two solid rounds of 71 and 67 to pick up the win, which also saw him lift the Cole Scuttle, the cumulative result from the County Champs Qualifier and the Strokeplay.
A fantastic performance played at Hockley GC and a fitting tribute to Keith’s legacy. A huge thank you to Sue Maplesden for attending the prize giving and presenting Jamie with the trophy.
Congratulations also to Mid Am Champion, Paul Telfer, who successfully retained the salver he won in 2024
