Some news about one of our own!
Our U16 squad member, Danil Maleckij, is taking on The Big Golf Race — an extraordinary challenge to play 100 holes in a single day in support of Prostate Cancer UK.
That equates to approximately 36 miles of walking and 15 hours of golf in one day .
This is a huge physical and mental test, but Danil has chosen to do it for a cause that means a great deal to so many within the golfing community. Prostate cancer affects 1 in 8 men, and the work being done by Prostate Cancer UK is critical in improving early diagnosis, treatment, and survival.
What makes this even more meaningful is that Danil is stepping forward not for personal recognition, but to make a difference. It reflects the character, commitment, and values we are proud to see in our Hampshire Juniors.
I truly believe Hampshire County is defined by members who support one another and take pride in encouraging the next generation of golfers representing our club. This is one of those moments where our support can make a real impact — both for Danil and for a cause that touches so many lives.
If you are able to contribute, any donation — large or small — this will help Danil reach his fundraising goal and show him that his county stands firmly behind him.
