Hampshire finish third at Thorpeness

Hampshire finished in third place in the EG South-East Group Qualifier at Thorpeness GC in Suffolk.

Alan Mew won the John Nettell Trophy for the best individual score in the 36 hole event. Alan shot rounds of 76 and 74 for a ten-over-par total of 150, two shots ahead of his nearest rivals.

Hampshire Seniors Team: Alan Mew, Trevor Gray, Bob Wickings, Pete Fletcher, Andy Palmer and Nick Rogers. The Team was captained by Alan Drayton.
