Talbot is Champion

Bramshaw's Alex Talbot won today's Hampshire Junior Championship at Test Valley Golf Club (29/3).

Talbot shot a two-under-par 69 to win the title, the only sub-par round of the day.

He will now represent Hampshire Golf in the Champion of Champions Tournament at Woodhall Spa on Saturday 10th September.

Second place went to Conor Richards (71), the 2015 Champion from Shanklin & Sandown GC.

Meon Valley's George Roberts won the nett title.

The event was reduced to 18 holes after heavy rain flooded the Test Valley course.
