Junior Development Grant for Golf Clubs
To support clubs in growing their junior sections, Hampshire Golf is introducing a Junior Development Grant Scheme for affiliated clubs. Grants of up to £1,000 are available to help clubs deliver initiatives that encourage more young people to get involved in golf and strengthen existing junior programmes.
The funding can support a range of projects such as grassroots coaching programmes, junior equipment, junior open events, beginner engagement days, school outreach activity, or wider junior development initiatives. Applications will be assessed on individual merit, with priority given to clubs that demonstrate both immediate impact and a clear long-term plan for junior participation.
Clubs interested in applying should submit a short Expression of Interest by emailing admin@hampshiregolf.co.uk before the deadline of 30 April 2026. The Hampshire Golf team will then liaise with the club to discuss the proposal and offer guidance where appropriate.
Hampshire Golf Player Bursary Programme
Alongside the club grant, we have also introduced a Player Bursary Programme to help support junior and emerging Hampshire county players who have earned the opportunity to compete in major national or international amateur events.
The bursary aims to help reduce financial barriers for players and their families, while ensuring that talented young golfers from Hampshire are able to take advantage of important competitive opportunities that support their development.
Full details of both initiatives, including eligibility and how to apply, can be found here:
